Sunstates Security is hiring a Security Site Lead for a high-profile client site in the Menlo Park, CA area. The Security Site Lead (PSSL) will be responsible for assisting security operations, life safety response, event management, crisis response, and BAU operations. The Security Site Lead will also provide administrative support as assigned by site management and Sunstates Security Leadership. This position offers an annual salary of $110,000, with a weekly pay schedule. Primary responsibilities of the Emergency Response Team Lead include: Providing Life Safety Emergency Response Services at the assigned office. Serving as the incident commander for onsite emergencies such as evacuations, severe weather, or crises. Managing life safety systems like CCTV, alarms, access control, and other installed systems. Ensuring a safe environment for personnel, contractors, visitors, and guests. Monitoring alarms and responding to emergencies promptly. Taking action to prevent or minimize losses and damages. Providing escorts within the facilities when needed. Reporting incidents and observations accurately and promptly. Interfacing with business leaders as required. Supporting administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. Supporting the Workplace Operations team, including submitting work orders, assisting with vendor deliveries, event setup/takedown, and managing building access and key control. Requirements: Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Flexibility and ability to manage change. High operational knowledge of Google Suite. Onsite during hours of operation, including special events. Ability to oversee, train, and support security personnel. Participate in hiring processes for security staff. Wearing radios and training on their use. Ensure all shifts are covered, schedules are planned in advance, and payroll is processed weekly. Report issues and incidents to management. Mentor and develop security officers. Perform duties of all positions reporting to the Site Lead. Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
