HYTORC is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering team!

Responsibilities include:

• Developing innovative mechanical design solutions for new or existing products.
• Collaborating with in-house personnel, salesforce, and customers on product requirements, and creating/designing product solutions to resolve problems.
• Assisting with prototype development and BOM creation. Redesigning existing products for enhancement and manufacturability.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues efficiently.
• Managing project deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
• Maintaining detailed records and ensuring documentation accuracy.
• Working with documentation control software such as SolidWorks EPDM or Adept.
• Demonstrating a solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering sciences (mechanics, machine design, dynamics, manufacturing processes) with the ability to apply principles to solve customer challenges.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for creating manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience preferred, especially for custom designs.
