Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Senior Commercial Electrician to oversee our electrical projects and manage a small team consisting of one helper and one apprentice. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a solid background in commercial electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of one helper and one apprentice, ensuring high standards of work and safety.
• Hands-On Work: Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in commercial settings.
• Delegation: Assign tasks to team members based on their skill levels and project requirements.
• Travel: Travel to various job sites in the Gainesville, GA and Dawsonville, GA areas using your own vehicle.
• Tool Management: Utilize and maintain your own tools for all electrical tasks.
• Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
• Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols, with a preference for candidates holding OSHA 10 or 30 certifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in electrical work with 1+ year with Commercial Buildings.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installations.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a small team.
• Tools: Must have your own tools for electrical work.
• Travel: Need own reliable transportation for traveling to job sites.
• Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Availability: Willingness to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and paid overtime.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $35/hr
• Benefits: Paid overtime
