Base pay range

$225,000.00/yr - $295,000.00/yr

Job Title: CFO

• Executive leadership role with a Fortune 500 residential construction company
• High-impact position influencing financial strategy, planning, and operational efficiency
• Oversight of multi-functional teams across finance, construction, land development, and purchasing
• Opportunity to shape policy, internal controls, and long-term division planning

• Lead all financial operations for the division, delivering timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership
• Drive the five-year business planning process and lead long-range forecasting efforts
• Oversee compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls across all operational areas
• Ensure efficient month-end close and financial reporting in accordance with corporate timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance profitability
• Evaluate land deals and development budgets for financial soundness and strategic alignment
• Guide implementation and training on JD Edwards ERP system to ensure consistency and compliance
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial policies, systems, and internal processes
• Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals to support divisional success

• Masters degree or equivalent
• 710 years of related financial leadership experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and business applications
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and use internal systems effectively
• Comfortable working in an office environment with moderate noise levels
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring close and peripheral vision

• Experience in the homebuilding industry
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
